Lighting Designer (MBJ0146)

Our client is seeking a talented and creative Lighting Designer to join their Bangkok studio. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative architectural and interior lighting projects across various sectors, including hospitality, residential, and commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in lighting design and a passion for creating impactful and harmonious environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to deliver creative lighting design solutions from concept development to final implementation.
• Prepare design documentation, including CAD layouts, technical drawings, lighting schedules, and control specifications.
• Conduct lighting calculations and simulations to ensure performance aligns with project requirements.
• Research and specify appropriate lighting products and technologies based on project needs.
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and design workshops to present concepts and ensure project alignment.
• Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, codes, and best practices.
• Work closely with architects, interior designers, and other consultants to integrate lighting seamlessly into the overall design vision.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural or interior lighting design.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux or Relux, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with BIM/Revit is preferred but not mandatory.
• A degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual) in English; knowledge of Thai is a plus.
• Strong conceptual thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team setting.
